International Nurses Day

If Doctors are our Gods, Nurses are the Angels!
They do a marvellous job without minding the risk involved to their Health & Life, bearing various constraints.
They clean up our Bed & Body without any embarrassment or delicacy whatsoever while we may carry aversion for handling our own kith & kin.
In operation theatre, their role is highly crucial and responsible as well.
They have to be highly attentive & smart all the time!
They may have to work continuously for day & nights at times and cannot say No.
They need to modify their approach depending on the Nature of Doctors, patients and the urgency of the cases as well !
Traditionally most of the Nurses are from Kerala, making the State feel proud thereby.
I myself have experienced the value of their service when I had undergone Bypass Surgery years back at MMM Hospital and also during prolonged treatment of my wife at Vijaya Health Centre.
The Irony is, the moment we come out of the Hospital & become normal we tend to forget their contribution. Of course, it happens in all cases including Teachers & others.
That is why we celebrate these Days exclusively so as to kindle our thoughts!
Hence on this International Nurses Day let us recall and salute their noble services from the bottom of our Heart & Pray for their Welfare!
Gratefulness is number 1 quality to be cherished & followed! Let us do it always!
Let us not hesitate to be the Nurses to our Own parents & relatives as and when the situation warrants.
