We are very happy to inform you that we are organizing our Naveena Swayamvaram (Marriage Meet) for Brahmins on 8th, 9th & 23rd July 2017 which has been long awaited by you.
The Venue will be Kamadhenu Kalyana Mandapam (Formerly Kamadhenu Theatre) at Luz Corner, Mylapore.
The Programme Details are as follows :

RENEWALS:
The Programme is open for our Members only. Hence those whose profiles are due for Renewals are advised to make the payment & Renew the same immediately to be eligible for Participation.
NEW REGISTRATION:
Likewise, it is also preferable to make the New Regn also earlier itself instead of doing it on that day amidst rush.
ENTRY FEE:
As Regards Iyers, there is no Entry Fee for Girls. However For Boys a nominal Entry Fee of Rs.500/- will be charged to cover part of our Expenses and for administrative reasons.
Regarding Iyengars & Telugus (Other Brahmins) the Swayamvaram is absolutely free for both Girls & Boys, as the crowd will be within manageable limits.
MINIMUM INCOME FOR BOYS:
For Boys Minimum income criteria is fixed at Rs.40,000/- per month based on the general expectation of Girls & for practical reasons.
LUNCH:
Lunch will be provided by us Freely.
NUMBER OF ACCOMPANIES:
The Parents/Relatives can participate with or without the Girl / Boy. Taking into Account the space constraints, we propose to restrict the number of accompanying persons to maximum 2, apart from the Girl / Boy.
OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the Event is to present the Basic details of profiles keeping the Boy/Girl/Parents before the stage. The profile as it appears in our Website will be simultaneously displayed in the huge screen (along with Photo if given). Wherever possible opportunity will be given to the participants also to convey important additional details if any. Based on the projection it will be easy for the other parties to note down the Regn. Numbers of suitable alliances and then proceed further. It is preferable for the Boy/Girl to participate & present themselves before the stage, though it is only optional.
ADD ON FACILITY – VIDEO COVERAGE:
Apart from projecting the details for the benefit of participants, Video coverage of the Event will be placed in our Website & Youtube also in due course leading to more enquiries based on Regn. numbers. In order to ensure privacy, the contact numbers will not be given in the projections.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
As you may be aware, we have conducted plenty of Swayamvarams in the past & we can humbly say that we are the pioneers in the line. Earlier we used to conduct the programme in a single day itself in separate slots for Iyers, Iyengars & Telugu Brahmins. This time because of the increased database, we thought it fit to conduct the programme for 2 days for Iyers alone, keeping the Iyengars & Telugu Brahmins in a Separate day. As regards Iyers, we have also decided to segregate the participants into Elders (Group A) & Youngsters (Group B) for better focus & convenience. Further, normally we used to read out the details of Girls only for Iyers. This Time we intend presenting the details of Boys also to the maximum extent possible.
PRIOR REGISTRATION:
For Participating in the Event, prior Registration is advisable. Further, this will also enable us to get an idea about the possible number of participants & plan things accordingly. Hence those who are interested to participate are requested to convey their decision by Phone or SMS (98403 30531) or E-mail quoting their Regn. Number & Name at the earliest and in any case before 25th June 2017 which will be acknowledged by us. Even if booking is done in advance, please note to attend in time to avoid any disappointment as the Entry Regn. will be on “First Come First Serve basis”.
ELIGIBILITY:
Regarding Iyers, as the programme is segregated for 2 days, age-wise as Elders (Group A) & Youngsters (Group B). Members can attend only one day as applicable to them and not on both days. Likewise members who have registered in Iyer Category, can participate only in the Days allotted to the Iyers. Members who have registered in Iyengar or Telugu Category, if they want to participate in Iyer session, they have to register in Iyer Category also by paying the Tariff & then only eligible. This is applicable to Iyer also if they want to participate in Iyengar or Other Brahmin session.
ENTRY SLIP:
An Entry slip will have to be submitted by the participants while attending the programme. A copy of the Format is put up in the Website which can be downloaded & filled up in advance.
GENERAL:
Apart from what is stated above, the Event will also provide all of us an opportunity for meeting in person & exchange our thoughts too.
